Derek and Tim Eat Snacks Ep. 112: Ritz Crisp & Thin Tabasco Flavored Wheat Chips

This week on the DATESCAST, things are getting spicy after all of last week’s insults. But Tim and Derek don’t lose their cool on day four of the 12 DATES of CHRISTMAS, or their cherished CD collections. They popped the faces off their car stereos and brought them in for security reasons before picking, eating, and rating this week’s snack, Ritz Crisp & Thin Tabasco Flavored Wheat Chips.

Podcast Episode 412: The VIP Pool of Reincarnation

This week, we’re not hiding behind plexiglass but we are keeping our bodily fluids to ourselves as we talk all things AEW. From Double or Nothing to the past few episodes of Wednesday Night Dynamite, we discuss our enjoyment of the “other guys” wrestling show. However, if we’re being transparent, this episode is really just an ode to the Stadium Stampede match. With so many spots, segments, and scenes to take in, we break down our favorite parts of this instant classic and why it worked so well. While this could be considered a polarizing match and PPV, we discuss how it really had something for everyone and will go down as one of the best shows of 2020.

CJAE 91: There & Back Again – The Captain’s Journey!

Fresh off the road from Las Vegas and all points in-between, Captain Jack (@JackHeartless) sits down with Zoey (@ZHJ2000) to talk about it. Join in as they discuss Starrcast II, Double or Nothing, New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors final, Ring of Honor being the WORST, and much more!

Podcast Episode 386: NXT TakeOver XXV

Adam Cole, BAY-BAY! Need we say anything else?

But really, during a week in which WWE is promoting their Saudi Arabia show and going extra light on the in-ring action, there’s little need to pay attention to any of that. If you aren’t caught up on NXT, now is the time to do so. Still hungry for wrestling? New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors Final took place this week as well, and though we recorded before it went down – it’s sure to be an exciting one as Jon Moxley makes his first in-ring appearance since WWE.

Podcast Episode 385: AEW Double or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling is here, and they have sent a message to the wrestling world. We had a crew on hand to take it all in – the good of Double or Nothing, the bad of Starrcast, and the ugly of what Vegas can do to you at 3am.

If you’re not super interested in the details about attending Starrcast live (spoiler alert: it was a shit show, and not in a good way), go ahead and skip on over to 34:52 where you can hear the guys talk up their experience hanging out with a certain wrestler’s parents. Who is it? Well, you might just have to listen to find out.

If even that doesn’t make you curious, we start getting in to the AEW card around minute 40. As we talk about AEW, we’ll of course delve into Jon Moxley’s journey from WWE to AEW / NJPW / and beyond, and we’ll talk about our hopes for what this all could mean to WWE / NXT, and the overall wrestling landscape.

Featuring: ‘The Mayor of Reseda’ Derek (@cap_kaveman), Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag), ‘Pipe Bomb’ Bryan Gregston (@guitarsalad), and ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinivitz (@superjew75)

Music by The Black Furies, courtesy of Music Alley.
