PWG’s 2014 BOLA Night Three was a marathon as a wrestling fan – from waiting outside in the blazing sun outside of the American Legion hall, to sitting in a sweatbox for over 5 hours… it wasn’t the greatest way to watch wrestling. Seriously, can we start a Kickstarter to raise money to fix / upgrade the American Legion’s air conditioning system?

ANYWAY, the wrestlers involved in the night’s events put on one heck of a show to close things out, and we saw a lot of interesting storylines unfold. From Roderick Strong’s uber-heel storyline to AJ Styles’ early elimination in the tournament to the Willie Mack NXT send-off, and everything in between…

I don’t want to get too much into the details, because this is something that should be enjoyed from start to finish once the DVD comes out.

Last, but certainly not least… I’d like to post the final standings of our bracket contest. We’ll reach out later this week via email to the winners!

For most of the last 30+ years of my life, I've been watching WWE. As a kid, Monday Night Raw hooked me from the start. From Bret Hart and Razor Ramon, to Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.. I've witnessed the ups and downs and I'm proud to have enjoyed pro wrestling through the years.

Though I now watch in a much different fashion than I did when I was a kid (finding out Vince McMahon was the owner and Jack Tunney no more than a figurehead was like finding out Santa Claus did not exist), I feel like I have a much greater appreciation for the hard work pro wrestlers do and the things they sacrifice to entertain us.

It's still real to me, dammit!
